Community linkages are established through organizing the SGC, HRPTA which involve all parents in school activities thereby realizing their roles as partners in the development of their children.
Families living in Munting Batangas are basically Catholics with a few members of other Christian religions. They are by nature religious and they still observe religious festivity.
Barangay Munting Batangas is a part of the 2nd Congressional District of Bataan.
Munting Batangas is one of the 25 barangays of Balanga City, Batan. It is located at the outskirt of the city. The barangay is a combination of rolling hillside and flat area which makes it high and suitable for farming and planting.
Basically, residents of the barangay are part of the labor sector, while some others are into farming and public transport (tricycle driving), some are in abroad and others engaged into nursery business.
Various school organizations like Scouting, SPG, Yes-O and others are organized to enhance pupil's knowledge and hone their potential and talents.
At present it is managed by a male principal with 15 female teachers all are permanent status.
OUR LADY OF LOURDES ELEMENTARY SCHOOL is located at the easter most part of Our Lady of Lourdes Subdivision, Munting Batangas, Balanga City occupying 1,736 square meters of land benevolently donated by Mrs. Amelia B. Burgos.
Our Lady of Lourdes Elementary School was established in 1993 as a primary school. The school was then a satellite school of T. Camacho Sr. Elementary School. It was in 2000-2001 when it became a complete elementary school.
