Servera competes in CLRAA

Jhoncel F. Servera, Grade VI badminton player of OLLES represented the Badminton Team of City of Balanga for the annual Central Luzon Regional Athletic Association at Malolos, Bulacan last February 19-25.

Servera, together with Aaron Rae R. Tan, won 2^nd place for Badminton Doubles in the City Meet held last December 16. Brian Carlo Gonzales also bagged the 2nd place for Singles A. Mrs. Imelda Tanarte and Mrs. Jhoanna Roque were their coaches for that competition.

From the list of winners of City Meet, Servera was one of the lucky players who was chosen to compete for CLRAA for Single A. His coach was Mrs. Rebecca Dayrit of Tenejero Elementary School.

In preparation for CLRAA, players, together with their coaches undergo intensive training and quartering at Balanga Elementary School last February 3-18.
