Project beeps up "Project ESEM"

Mrs. Emelita A. Yumena, ES-I Supervisor in Mathematics, spearheaded the annual evaluation of “Project- Effective School in Elementary Mathematics (ESEM)” in Our Lady of Lourdes Elementary School (OLLES) last March 16, 2010. The project aims to identify the learning difficulties of the pupils in Mathematics and later on find ways on how to increase their competence in the subject area.

Moreover, results of the evaluation will be used to identify the effective teaching strategies and series of reinforcement activities to increase pupils’ performance.

As part of the evaluation, Mrs. Yumena revisited the school’s Math Center and checked the teaching devices used by the Math teachers in facilitating learning and achieving mastery of skills taught among the learners.

Meanwhile, the school is still striving to achieve higher heights when it comes to pupils’ performance in Mathematics through this program.
