“Education does not mean teaching people what they do not know. It means teaching them to behave as they do not behave. It is painful, continual and difficult work to be done by watching, by warning, by precept and by praise, but above all by kindness.”
Every educational institution has an objective to produce better individuals. Every teacher has to target the academic excellence of the students. The community must provide a place where the learners gain access to education.
Our Lady of Lourdes Elementary School has the same vision as other schools have; provide quality instruction to have better education although situated in a private subdivision, the school caters to families that lived in the nearby barangays. As with most cases of families with no permanent job no regular monthly income, most of the pupils we have must fend for themselves and generally, instructions are expected solely from the teachers. (except for few students who have been lucky).
Faced with this situation, Our Lady of Lourdes Elementary School teaching staff, committed themselves to teach their pupils not only the lessons from the book but also the lessons of life.
To the teachers, we have said it is written, teaching is the noblest profession. Let us impart the knowledge with the right skills coupled it with your generous amount of patience and love. Sometimes, lessons are mastered not only by letting them work on activities, but more so, by teaching them from the heart.
To our stakeholders, your continuous support, l even in your little ways, help a lot in bringing and carrying out this most significant mission in life; and that is to educate our youth.
We are all in great honor to have been laden with the task and for giving us the opportunity to make an impact on the learners lives that would line their destiny.
